Key specs explained
Wattage: 1500W
This is the maximum power draw. It tells you how much electricity the unit uses when running at full capacity. Higher wattage usually means faster heat output for larger areas. You can lower this setting to save energy. Compare this to other portable heaters to ensure it matches your room size and electrical circuit limits.
Control Method: Remote control
The listing includes a remote for adjusting settings from a distance. This lets you change temperature or timer without getting up. It adds convenience if the heater is hard to reach. Check if the remote requires separate batteries. This feature is useful for bedrooms or offices where you want quiet operation without manual button presses.
Timer Duration: 12 hours
The heater can run for up to 12 hours before turning off automatically. This helps manage energy use and sleep safety. You can set it to shut down after a night of heating. This prevents overheating if you forget to turn it off. Compare this duration to other models to see if it meets your typical usage patterns.
Heating Element: Ceramic
Ceramic elements heat up quickly and distribute warmth evenly. They are generally safer and more efficient than bare wire coils. This type of element is common in portable units for bedrooms. It provides steady heat without drying out the air as much. Look for ceramic elements when you want reliable, consistent warmth in small spaces.
Design and build quality
The AUBKN Portable Ceramic Space Heater features a compact, portable form factor. Its dimensions are 5.91 inches wide, 8.46 inches high, and 5.91 inches deep. The unit weighs 2.24 pounds. The device also includes a built-in thermostat to maintain your desired temperature automatically. You do not need to guess when to turn it off.
